Infants and Children under 5<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Health Visitors for Goring and Woodcote area are covered by the Chiltern Villages Health Visiting Team<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have a useful website packed with information and links to resources that will keep you up to date with local services<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health Visitors are qualified nurses or midwives with specialist public health training.  They are trained in child development and protecting children.  They are able to support you in pregnancy and will see you once your baby is born.  They are also able to provide support and advice to you within child health clinics and at any time until your child turns five years of age. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their teams also include community staff nurses, nursery nurses and health care support workers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They are available Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children aged 5-19<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

School nurses<\/strong>\u00a0work in partnership with other agencies to offer support to school-aged children, young people and their families on many issues. Find them on\u00a0Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a team of school health nurses who provide a service all year round, the team covering our area are based at Wallingford Community Hospital. They can help with a wide range of conditions and offer support and education to patients, families and schools<\/p>\n\n\n\n
