We would like to welcome our new Mind Wellbeing Worker Esme who is based in our Goring surgery.
She delivers 1-to-1 sessions for people who are experiencing mental health issues or other social or lifestyle issues that are impacting on their wellbeing.
Mind Wellbeing Workers can:
• listen to you, giving you time to speak about your concerns and the things that are important to you• offer time, space and support for you to work out the positive changes you want to make
• tell you about relevant services, resources and tools you can access to improve your wellbeing.
• support you to identify goals and encourage you to work towards them.
The support she provides aims to encourage and enable people to link in with existing support services, use the support available in their local community, and develop tools to increase their ability to manage their own wellbeing.
Esme is based in our Goring surgery on Tuesdays, but also available for telephone appointments. If you think you might benefit from her support and guidance, speak to one of the GPs or nurses and we can refer you
