Measles

Measles cases are on the rise in the UK. Make sure you know what symptoms to look out for and how to protect yourself

Disability Access

If you have any additional or special needs please let our staff know so that we can help you, and also ensure you get the same support in the future. We want to make it as easy as possible for all our patients to visit us whatever their disability.

We are also very aware that not all disabilities are visible and are keen to ensure everyone feels supported

Wheelchair access

Both practices are accessible from nearby bus stops and train stations using pavements

Both practices have been specially designed to make it easier for disabled patients to visit, with button press doors, handrails and low threshold bars at each entrance.

Accessible toilets

Patients have access to disabled toilets at both sites. These are clearly signed, with space to turn if needed and emergency alarms

Consulting Rooms

Our consulting rooms are all accessible on the ground floor and spacious and cleaned daily. We have supportive chairs, with arms if needed. Most rooms are equipped with height adjustable examination couches.

Disabled parking – Blue badge scheme

We have allocated disabled parking spaces in both our car parks

The Blue Badge Scheme is for people with severe mobility problems. It allows Blue Badge holders to park close to where they need to go. For more information and an Application Form visit

Loop system

We have a loop induction system at Reception to assist the hearing impaired. For more information on the loop hearing system visit Hearing Link website.

Blind/partially sighted

If you or your family members are blind or partially sighted we can give you a large print of our Practice leaflet upon request. Please ask our staff for further information.

For more advice and support for blind people please visit the following websites:

Guide and Assistance Dogs

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome at the Practice but we ask that you be aware of other patients and staff who may have an allergy or fear of dogs. Please visit the guide dog website for further information.

Quiet Space

For those patients that struggle with sensory issues or who require a quiet place we will do our best to accommodate this, if we have rooms available that day. Please ask our team on the day who will do their best to help.
